Last chapter it was mentioned that Tanya was using magic to disguise Alice and Philia as "just sluts", so, presumably, she did something similar here by making him look alive.

uuh about this, its seems the "original web novel" end up discontinued but the author get offer to turn it into manga so this kind of original manga in weird sense, early chapter seems follow the few novel chapter had until this duo came up since in web novel its should be 5 newbie who came for this dungeon

I think it gets tiring to have the story remind you every single time about how the world or the main characters' powers work. I think it's fine to presume that the same occultation magic from last chapter works on this one too.
