The initial premise drew me in. The latter half of the chapter drew me out. Hell, even her choice of dress in the end feels... unaesthetic with her look somehow. Dark red doesn't fit her design well.

I will keep reading but... the premise is good, but the first chapter execution feels off.

I'm assuming when I click forward to the second chapter, we will jump back to earlier times. It seems quite strange the manga would skip the whole high school period, where Runa was supposed to be the villainess. I presume the mangaka just copied this stupid flashforward thing from the Korean manhwa, where the authors love to spoil the whole plot of their work in Chapter Zero.

Reminds me of the "clans" in Naruto or the old families in Harry Potter in which the classmates are all heirs and sometimes sole survivors of declining families. With the exception of the Hyuuga and Uchiha or the Weasleys.
