In the novel mentioned that kid, that he saved, in future will be joining the army with sole reason to give 'gratitude' for saving her. Much to many future annoyances of Kaede.

I mean, they are properly tagged, so I not mad, I just don't see the need to blurt out details of what will happen before we actually get to read it(tbf, someone did ask for spoilers, which is fine, and answered properly tagged, which is fine; its just an abundant amount of them that takes me aback a little....).

Anyway, its seems like the "useless" dragon girl will be Souma's next bride. I'm not sure what she can bring to the table, as she's only been shown as a fantasy NEET, but I guess we'll see eventually. Ugh... probably going to take a few months(ie. chaps) before they actually meet.

I'm thinking Hakuya wants Kaede as his apprentice. She's been tutoring her I think? But it would make sense why he specifically wants her to travel with them, maybe even to report various observations to him for more information.

At least I can appreciate Souma traveling with a bit of a different entourage this time. Liscia is the wife I think has gotten the lowest amount of screen time, and doesn't really feel like a solid bond, let alone romance has formed between her and Souma vs the rest of the girls; even Roroa has a bit of a leg-up over Liscia at this point. It'll be good for her if she can get some alone time with him so they have some personal memories together.

A representative of the demon race invades and tries to destroy the Crystal Palace. It generates storm-force/hurricane-force winds that make it impossible for all dragons to fly in the weather, let alone fight back against their magic attacks.
