Woah, an actually good king? Yeah, summoned against his will but still. It's kinda surprising.
I have been reading so many cliche mangas that this tiny change in plotpoint characters makes me think this might actually be good or atleast unique.
God, I have really set my bar for good story too low in hopes for enjoying many average mangas. (Not saying I can't recognize great from good from bad).
So, change my mind you. Show me a story worth the read.

@cannarali I get what you mean, and I agree up to a point, but think about it.
How many methods do you know to Isekai?
One: reincarnation/rebirth.
Two: truck-kun
Both of these may include a god/(useless) godess.
Three: summon.
Generally by a king, sometimes god.

Considering summon is LITERALLY kidnapping, doesn't it actually make sense for the king to be a bad guy?
I mean, sure, you can write a story where a character rapes and murders innocent civilians and still try to portray them as a good person, but...
