I worry she's not gonna make it though, convenience store and other customer service jobs can be really stressful to do. Constant social interaction and a myriad of small odd jobs you need to do on time inbetween. Can be really draining, especially for someone like Myoko that's basically recovering from hitting "the wall". Once you have done so in the past youre extra sensitive to stress etc.

It's a different kind of stress. Remember that stress isn't necessarily bad and makes you sick, it's too much stress over time. Stress is important to make you grow as a person.

I don't think at this point there's anything she could do that wouldn't make us worry.

The hopeful note this job is starting on is that she managed to be completely open about her struggles in the interview and hold nothing back, and yet was hired anyway. So - maybe she's not completely worthless. It can be the silver lining in a cloud.

It's going to be stressful, especially in the beginning, but it's not like she was living a stress-free life, on the contrary. There are few things more stressful in a negative sense than a life without direction and a self-esteem that's absolutely in the dumpster.

i would hope a convenience store job is 'easier 'than being an office lady but then again you'd have to deal with daily 'clients' as customers and such, tho i'm sure ppl would look down on it but other than keeping an eye for thieves, shame they can't set up a self checkup counter and she can just focus on stocking shelves but hopefully the job isnt' too harsh on her

If they are working together, An could handle customers with Miyako stocking shelves etc. in the background. At least until she gets more comfortable working.
