What's even the fantasy of having all that power to avoid injustice with, and yet ignoring it without even achieving some minor degree of vindication? I'm guessing they're setting up the brick joke equivalent of comeuppance, but you just kinda know it's not going to work with a throwaway character like this as it's not like he represents a tough ordeal that's going to be satisfying to have overcome. With the lack of anything resembling a decent explanation for his behavior, all this adds up to is the MC being such a beta cuck that even comparatively shrimpy manbabies walk all over him without the allies, reputation and/or luck he'll doubtlessly have in the future to do it for him.
It's a really dumb mindset a lot of these mangaka seem to have, that working hard and keeping your head down represents a straightforward path to success, which is just plain false even if you have immense talent. Without significant amounts of savvy (or in fantasy, overwhelming personal power) on your side, what happened to the MC will happen to you in a much subtler and sustainable form over and over again until you're used up and thrown away.
