Just pumping the kid full of meds and constantly negatively reinforcing him wasn't a solution to begin with (and seems based on mostly discredited 'treatment' methods that are sadly still relatively widespread) but the stuff she replaced it with would turn any kid into a psycho, let alone a kid who already had developmental issues.

Like indulging his every whim was already bad but at worst it would have turned him into a bum so the scammer just HAD to take it a step further and encourage his violence and the mom also enforced it.
