I'm gonna be real - Salary dude and Ai is the worst couple. Unless Salary dude is like early 20s fresh out of college (unlikely), their relationship is just kinda icky.

Just about every other Tawawa couple is weird in some way, but Salary dude is a grown-ass adult hanging out with a high schooler - total loser behavior. Would be super down for them if Ai were older, but as it is it sucks.

I was super annoyed when every Ai-chan chapter was the obnoxious lesbian showing up and being annoying. Now seeing crumbs of Onii-san is enough to get me excited to read this again because I do enjoy their dynamic.

The guy above doesn't seem to understand this whole story is about unusual relationships. Some weirder than others but that's the point of the different relationships. They're not straightforward is the point.

I think the fact that the author severely lowered "onii-san" appearance shows that he may have reconsidered the "relationship" of this specific duo.

Not by much, as there is the clear hint of feelings, but... well... Ai-chan in the unserialized version had left "purity" to the wayside a LOOOOONG time ago.

I have made my opinion known about what I feel about this "couple" in question, but don't get me wrong... I am not a puritan, I look the other side depending on the "category" of story, I like gooner bait as much as the next guy.

But when the story leaves behind the borderline hentai connotations... I really don't like this duo.

But I won't shame anyone who likes them, like I said... I am no puritan and won't act as such.

Unfortunately with this series each pairing is basically rolling a dice, best case they get together pretty quickly, middle case they get stuck in a will they don't they and at the worst the character is basically deleted like Salaryman.

Regardless of your favorite pairing it feels unfair how unbalanced it is, the nice thing about multiple couples is to find the ones that you enjoy the most but it turns kinda pointless if the ones that get progress are just randomly decided. It's like seeing a romance manga with several ships setup, but the author decides to give a conclusion to half of them by the end of the story.

Nothing gets worse than the lesbian character anyway, and I'm saying that as someone who doesn't care about these types of characters even when the comment sections are in flames when they are introduced in any other manga, that's how useless and even detrimental her role in the story is.

And oh boy if people find Ai and Salaryman too much imagine if the

On one hand, it seems confirmed that in this version of the story Ai chan is a virgin, and probably never did anything remotely sexual.
On the other hand, Salaryman is back, so I can get a glimpse of my favorite couple after so much time. I can only hope it's not an isolated case and we'll see more of him in the future, even if to have him together with Ai chan we'll probably have to wait for a time skip or another isekai chapter.
