Sometimes it's for the better that Bavaria represents stereotypical Germany to some people, isn't it?

I mean, a lot of manga authors seem to think americans kiss as a greeting between acquaintances. They just makin shit up over there.
Ditto the other way around where weebs think Anime and Manga is Japan and get sorely disappointed when they get there.

Thank you Germany 👍🏼
It's the Scandinavians (mainly Finns) that do sauna nude, but I will let it slide

Thanks for the chapter 👍🏼
Germans as well. I'd just be very careful which Sauna you go to in Germany since Saunaclubs are legal brothels. That would be even worse of a cultural misunderstanding than what Glasses-chan was imagining.

Not sure why they would expect us to show less leg. Seeing girls go to school in hotpants and spaghetti tops is completely normal during the summer months.

I am actually surprised they got the drinking age right. 90% of Germans will probably tell you 16 is the drinking age, because that is when you can buy beer and wine, but you are allowed to consume alcohol while your parents are around and ok with it if you are 14 or 15.

And it is WURST, not WRUST. BRUST is correct, but BURST is not a German word. FRUST is.

It does go to three
never heard anyone say that. it's apparently from this song: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_München_steht_ein_Hofbräuhaus where the wiki only counts to two as well. but if you search for the song lyrics, they always say eins, zwei instead of oans, zwoa (high german vs bavarian dialect). so no idea what's right tbh. but none of these mention the number three.
It's 14 for beer and wine if a legal guardian is present and allows it
she just said "the drinking age" without any mention of a guardian (which is still 16 years old), but interesting to know nonetheless.

I'll be fucking DAMNED if i let this manga attribute the sauna to those fucking krauts. This is cultural appropriation.

The song is unrelated to the phrase as it is used in a Bierzelt. It goes "Oans, zwoa, drei, g'suffa" and sometimes, depending on the band, it goes on with "Prost ihr Säcke!" to which the audience replies with "Prost du Sack!"

I mean in Europe it is a kind of greeting in some sort, between friends/family or closer colleagues maybe. Ofc kiss in this case means a kiss on the cheeks or rather imitating a kiss on the other persons cheek. So it's more like a gesture.

if you mean strictly inside the oktoberfest, no clue. not gonna waste 20 euros for a fucking beer when i can get an entire case for the money.

tbh i've only seen this greeting in mafia movies. maybe a southern european thing? don't think anyone in central or northern europe does that.

Well, it's relatively common gesture in Hungary, especially at celebrations like birthday/national holidays/new years..etc, but can happen between relatives and friends.

I'm idly speculating that perhaps they're referring to how we don't force teenage girls into short skirts against their will as part of their standard school uniform, and mistaking that for being prudish about showing leg.
