This looks like complete ass, but The Beast of Gevaudan was a real thing. It was most likely some mutated wolf or genetic anomaly. Way bigger and stronger than nearly any wolf. Sad its name has to be used for this DEGENERATE GARBAGE!!!

This is one of the best smut webnovels out there. Very glad to see it's finally got an adaptation, though the art is a bit simple. It could stand to be more gothic and shoujo.

If you haven't read the webnovel, it is an amazing Beauty & the Beast story with it's own take on a
reverse isekai
setting that combines body horror, gore, smut, and harem into something both entertaining and operatic. The current release is around chapter 14 of the original novel, if you're thinking of reading ahead.

I like the 5 chapters available so far and would like to see more. Glad that the slander against this serial in the first few comments has reversed by now. In a way, it's a more hardcore version of Monster Life, which follows a similar but uncommon formula: A feared sapient monster stands out from the rest of the pack despite having no verbal language skills, and for the time being, he's gotta do the best he can while still forced to do his gruesome job.

It strikes the right balance between humor (light and dark) and the real struggle of maintaining one's sanity and mercy in a task that leaves little room for either. It's one thing to be purely a victim, but I find a story much more compelling if one is both victim and perpetrator. There's the difficult challenge of determining how much of the evil you do is truly your fault in those circumstances, especially when you're in no state of mind to accept the answer.
