So my takeaway is that META-chan thinks Oriko's blind faith in people is bad and unbefitting of a main character because she never acknowledges the baggage they may have. Oriko thinks that everyone is their own main character and that her role is to be just that little bit of happiness on their own journeys through life.

The 'correct' chapters would be the ones done by AnimeFreakSubs. Some of the early chapters were pre-serialization, which is why there's a few extras. For the most part, a lot of the early chapters have the same plot but are just told in a different way/order. Technically, Chapter 1 Remake is also a correct Chapter 1 but for completely different reasons.
