Having read the comments so I'm glad that everyone here is excited. Though if I'm gonna be honest I feel the first season of Giant Ojou-sama will end with Oriko meeting Stella and have their duel for city. What I'm now really curious on is who gonna be cast for these character and who's gonna be involved with the production.

I think you underestimate just how SHORT certain chapters of the series and how much content you can fit into just 12 episodes of anime, unrelated manga but I'm going to use it to prove my point "chained soldier" is a pretty action packed manga just like this one with similar chapter lengths maybe longer, the first episode consisted of ENTIRELY the first chapter of the manga which was 60+ pages, yet STILL ended season 1 at about chapter 42-43.

So I think you might be pleasantly surprized with how much content they'll probably fit into this anime, me personally I'm predicting stella to show up, about episode 5 or 6?

I can see where you're coming from but if I can be devils advocate. The chapters while indeed at times can feel short when reading but there's one thing that I have to consider is what the pacing is going to be like. This is a comedy series and while there is a fair bit of action there's just as much if not more comedic exchanges between the characters. Even the action itself I find will need moments for the viewers to take in. I think of something like "100 Girlfriends that really really really love you" and it too has in a manga sense short bite sizes stories but that went on for only 22 chapters of the first season.

You also make a good point with that, in fact I do even hope that they'll extend certain scenes out with how funny or interesting they are. I can also understand the comparison to 100 girlfriends, with it's similar style of chapters. However, it's ALOT more character building focused, with a lot more conversations between the many different characters than actually progressing with the chapters as a result the pacing was a lot slower.

But yes, you make a good point.

I am surprised volume 10 just covered chapter 100, so like we are at 139 now , the physical volume seems slow to came out, anyone knows why this can happened?
