Ohh that's good. The only thing I don't like is she's a JAV actress (no offense).
But, it's kinda sad. She only did that because she's really in need of money to support both her @$$holes bf & sh!tty family.

One of the top action romance I read. Nice concept and plot.

Papico's motivations for going into porn are more complex than that. The money was definitely a factor, but no one keeps an entire library of the porn they shot if they merely regard it as a sad, transactional affair best forgotten. She enjoyed shooting porn, but she also enjoyed being cast in non-porn roles as well because she's an actor. Like any good actor, she wants to try a variety of roles to get a better handle on her craft. In fact, the other characters' fixation on her being an AV actress is a point of critique by Oku, and what do I see but a bunch of posters in this very thread falling into that trap.

Which leads me to the most interesting part of the manga, which is not the AV sex, not the tokusatsu battles, and not even the romance between Rei and Papico.

By trying to learn all they could about humanity through the internet, the computer facsimiles of the founders of western philosophy, Socrates and Plato, turned into crude couch-surfing band t-shirt-wearing misanthropes, Beavis and Butthead.

If Oku is making any kind of point, it is the same one Lowtax of SomethingAwful.com tried to make in the early 2000s which we have still failed to learn -

the internet makes you stupid. That includes even Socrates and Plato if they were alive today. We made our own apocalypse through an unholy alliance of technology and human stupidity that even the best geniuses are not immune to. The city-destroying monsters sent by Beavis Socrates and Butt-head Plato are just symbols of this reality.
