Oh and don't forget the "cutting hair to move on from a romance/love" trope which always results in the girl looking worse than before because the artist doesn't know how to draw her with short hair. Fuckin' ell man.

God I fucking despise this trope. Why do authors write their characters cutting their hair as a sign of them "developing." It's fucking stupid as shit. I think my disdain comes from my preference of long hair and seeing it cut and the girl looking worse bothers the hell outta me.

Is it that fucking hard to show growth through dialogue and others actions that doesn't involve dumb tropes like cutting your fucking hair.
