But I wanted read their story... who is she?
Poor Mama.. I'm sorry for her even if she take away the Death from them for an egoistical need, because she was lonely.

I hate those kinds of end. They have immortality, the only thing that can make you exist nut Nah they give up on it to die in a few decades and return to nothingness.
Worthless.

@DaoLaw Did you read and understand the whole work?

If you have a whole immortal civilization with you, so you are always entertained and can meet new people, it might be worthwhile. But just 3 (or 4) people on the whole planet with NOTHING to do. No intellectual discussion to stimulate the mind. Only old books which will decompose with the eons. As they said: It doesn't even make sense to remember the geography of your surrounding area, because it changes too fast for your immortal mind.

The best thing you can hope for, is that your source of immortality is bound to the planet and will be destroyed together with the planet. Because if not: Have fun being immortal inside a sun or in the blackness of space. Till you somehow by chance land on another space rock after millions or billions of years and repeat the process. For all eternity.

Turning human again and dying is the best thing you could hope for.

@ckckckck That's your opinion.
They just need to wait, and if there's nothing to do, wait more, till something happens, I don't see any demerit. You even get bored of boredness at some point.
Humans always want what they do not have, and this has is merits and demerits. In this case, I don't like it. If you want to die, you can die, I don't want to die, but I'll still die in the end. What a shame to be alive.
