But, I also think, for Maki and Pi, they had literally thousands of *pets* died. Mira might be a special one, a human pet, but in the end, she is not that different from the others.
All life will come to an end.
If something that have infinite time, will it even have anything called feeling? Or it would be something completely different from our human feelings?
Each of us only had a few decades to live, but humanity has thousand years of existence already. Each of our feeling is just a little grain in the sea of sand.
I am special for being myself, and maybe for my family and friends, but not special for the world.
