Started from when it was only 50 chapters, I follow it every week until they switch magazine, and when I caught up to the new schedule I forgot about it due to IRL stuff, and only now remember to check out the ending. I found this a few months ago and couldn’t put it down, but now I’m somehow getting nostalgic over it all, even though I wasn’t even there when it started.

When I first started the anime, I thought the end was so far away ... little did a realize one blink is all it was gonna take me to get here. This was a long but good run every step of the way. Gin-san, I love u with all my heart, Shinpachi is the goat of this anime. & Kagura, ur the best baby. The Shinsengumi, Mimawarigumi, Otose snack staff, Katsura gang, the Ninja Oniwabanshu, Yoshiwara gang, Kyubei clan, Hasegawa, Gengai, Sadaharu dog baby 💖, I love you all, this journey was so long yet so fast, you're all dear to me & I will miss the thrill of this anime. Thanks to Hideaki Sorachi, who through his unique sense of humor & held back tense writing, gave us one of the most balanced masterpieces in anime, & thanks to Sunrise & BNP for bringing the panels to life. With a broken heart & a heavy soul, & sake falling down my eyes, farewell Gintama.
