And I admit to jumping to a conclusion without evidence there. If anything, she appears to be a little pushy but ultimately well-meaning. There is no amount of heat that can make the cake spoil in that time, because spoilage is caused by bacteria and fungi and shit like that gradually breaking down the molecules the food is made up of, and food spoils in warm places because that kind of environment is more suitable for those bacteria and fungi to prosper. But no matter how hot it is, it still takes time for food to spoil, and there's no way there was enough time for that to happen here. It'd probably just taste like warm cake.
