You keep calling her the main girl, but that ain't her I see on the cover. It's also made it ridiculously clear that she doesn't actually need him, but Qingyu does. I'd say her first girl and childhood friend statuses are fighting each other off to relegate her to a more secondary romance option rather than the primary one.
