I feel like these kinds of developments are so rare. So often yuri authors will try to keep all of the characters "pure" and will shy away from addressing things that real teenage girls do like drinking or having sex so I always become way more invested in a story when stuff like that comes up. It sorta helps me trust that the author is more interested in telling a good story than pleasing everyone

Alright, I wrote a comment on this chapter 3 years ago and it was really dumb.

On reread, I still find this development quite annoying, but more so just because it is overly angsty, but that is not limited to just this development, as The manga as a whole is just very angsty.

Though I do find it confusing, as if they met in high school, that means the whole drinking party was when they were middle schoolers?
