How many cult leaders do you even know that actually seen their deity do anything in real time ever, lmao? Well, other than the top henchmen of political dictators. Seriously though, in Rin's case I think we've yet to see her actual character arc. I can already see her being the classic "your crush best friend who doesn't tolerate you."i knew it. it was a set up from the start!
i'm sure a certain cult leader won't enjoy finding out her Godess crushes on someone, especially someone on the rival band lol.
I think it’s a copyright issue. Also, I was afraid to ask, but why doesn't the official translation touch the lyrics? As far as I can see, they are always important in this story.
Do they play covers of real songs?I think it’s a copyright issue.
YesDo they play covers of real songs?
Damnbrought heterosexuality to this manga.
Well, given how things had been going up until this point, some kind of ship tease between Hatono and Mizuo did seem very logical and intuitive. But up until this point, it mostly felt like headcanon to me. But I don't want to be that person who declares the characters a married couple after one ship tease, we'll see how it develops.Yes
Damn
The lyrics are protected under the JASRAC and they need to pay them a fine if they include copyrighted lyrics. It's not a huge issue in Japan since the series is super popular over there, but Mangaplus needs to pay an additional fee if they include it in other translations. Since it's comparatively niche in the West, Mangaplus would actively lose money from the series if they paid the fees.It seems like the author finally decided to answer my silent question about whether something is planned between Mizuo and Hatono... But other than that, I appreciate that at least some musical manga actually tries to explore the issue of musical skills and professional rivalry instead of eating cake or turning the relationships between the musicans into Shakespearean drama. This title and Bocchi are real treasures for me as an amateur guitarist.

Popular? So we can expect anime in the future? I always feel like it's already been announced, but then I realize it's the Mandela effect.Love to see that my Chihiro x Mizuo agenda won. They cute.

Or at least that's my understanding of it. In any case, they used to include lyrics but then they took it off Mangaplus for a good couple months before bringing it back with the lyrics censored. Wouldn't be surprised if they received a Cease and Desist.
I feel like the manga has written itself into the corner where its anime adaptation would need to find a VA for Hatono whose singing voice is terrible yet captivating. The manga makes us take its word for it, but the anime would have to actually deliver the right performanceSo we can expect anime in the future?
How about Aoi Yuki or Naomi Oozora? They both have very charismatic acting and the ability to portray weird cheesy manner of speaking. Just imagine Mao Mao or Satania singing.I feel like the manga has written itself into the corner where its anime adaptation would need to find a VA for Hatono whose singing voice is terrible yet captivating. Girl Meets Rock is actually one of the most popular Jump+ series outside of the really mainstream ones.Popular? So we can expect anime in the future? I always feel like it's already been announced, but then I realize it's the Mandela effect.
The list of popular titles feels very familiar, and at the same time, it's a little strange to see so many of my new favorites at the top. Am I becoming that mainstream? Also, are there that titles about the bath-obsessed Roman and the cats with the ramen restaurant?Girl Meets Rock is actually one of the most popular Jump+ series outside of the really mainstream ones.

I think an anime adaptation is more or less guaranteed at some point. Seems like a hard series to do right, but I think the right casting can make it work.
She's only human, don't believe the bassistok wow i really did not expect her to fall in love, it's dumb but that really caught me off guard
