Now it makes a lot more of sense, but it is more terrifying, as we know better that Aki becomes possesed by a mass murderer. I would piss my pants if i were her. Being a hero is frightening.

On the other side, if Mimit wants to safely meet Aki, she just have to use her affinity for magic and create a remote controlled puppet that she can move and see from. Similar to the underlings she made before, but without a mind.

It makes me remember she has that kind of magic in her, was it called Hero's spirit? and she actually prevented that action. Even though, it's unconciously action, But, will still give her a credit for that.

Translator didn't get the joke with the turtle i guess. From previous chapters and what i know of Japanese, it's probably supposed to be "Do-M Turtle" or literally "Masochist Turtle."
Which fits its modus operandi and that face...
