Hooray, another chapter! Continuing great mix of scary, cool world building, comedy, and sweet. Bael trying to get back at Wasabi a bit fit of course, though so does it being a predictable risk with a high level demon. But the plan to have a max level Demon Lord-class monster get super drunk in the same room as you maybe could have used a bit more thinking on possible downsides...

Anyway thanks as always. Really looking forward to the next arc and seeing more revealed about how all this came to be.

Hmm, the final battle could be against a corrupted Chiaki.

In which case it might be a big deal that Aki has already actually met her 'angel', had conversation, gained a genuine understanding, and so on. Since that took place due interference by a demon who did so due to friendship/rivalry with a super monster, it's possible that (as well as being quite powerful) Aki is the first Hero since they came about to have done it. Maybe that will be part of what makes it a real fight, that Barama won't be able to do the same effect if the hero and 'angel' are already in alignment.

Mimit told them to eat poison and die, they use the word poison and thought to poison humans water supply, they gave the achievement to Mimit which gave her fame she didn't want that they could have had....
