The "hypnotized"/"coffee drunk" Rize and Syaro are absolutely precious in this chapter!

Blink-and-you-miss-it: a delighted Syaro, off-screen, has some mom-daughter role-play with the "hypnotized" Rize. This will be at least the third time that the manga has a little fun playing with a father/mother/daughter dynamic between Rize, Syaro, and Chiya, with a second reference occurring during the Hotel Royal Cats story arc, when the characters introduce themselves to the hotel managers. Part of the gag seems to be a question of who is who in that dynamic! An interesting "games" to play while reading this manga is to look for any scenes where these three characters appear, and observe how they are posed together. Another is to look out for just how early on Chiya remarks on Syaro's admiration of Rize, and how much she does to encourage their friendship, given how shy both of those characters are!
