I was just about to post that, but does tive travel really count as isekai?

@boag well given that it is a "new world" for the mc we could say that. I'm pretty sure someone already posted a "definition" of what an isekai is somewhere on mangadex and it had the timetravel in it. But well "Isekai" is a pretty new type of manga and Mazinger (even God Mazinger which was started in 1984) is not realy what you could call "new". x)

@Mortaze isekai as a genre is pretty new, but the concept is old as dirt. In ye olden tymes, it was just another aspect of fantasy and sci-fi stories, not a genre unto itself.
