wtf guys be considerate to our mc... hes not the cool and smart lil bro and not like the genius childhood girl... and him being like this makes the thing more of a "serious and realistic" theme... what? u want the mc to get some weird ability like control the time? sry he can only go back once and he needs to gather information as much as he can and who knows will he even have a chance to go back in time... and a normal human trying to survive that situation and the drama of "the ones i want to protect dies" gives a normal human a very bad stress... at the very least they didnt go with the so realistic "RUN RUN RUN forget others just run" or even pissing his pants because hes too scared... SO BE GRATEFUL DAMIT its for the sake of the story

@Shamz It's a usual comment from Shonen readers (manga readers in general) that I can't say I agree with.

The mangaka knows how readers like to fantasize themselves being in the shoes of the main character, so that's where Yuuto comes into play. With no flaws, with a calm head, Yuuto is the one that is the readers' self-insert, and not Yamato.
