Thanks for the tlIt's nice to see him use the scientific method on magic.
It's really interesting to see that, apparently, with sufficiently high stats for magic, you can technically learn any spellbook.
However, since he came to the conclusion that the ring was boosting his stats, I wonder why he didn't try to test the difference with holy magic to see if it also becomes stronger or uses less mana.
Normally you wouldn't think a ring is a weapon, magical or not..."Is this ring even a magic weapon?"
This isn't about affinity at this point, the ring just raises some stats, and that by extension got his skills to the bare minimum for those spells. It's like how in the Fallout games you can eat some mentat candies to pass a skill check for lockpicking, science, or medicine.MC is smart, but overthinks some things and seems to be forgetting other.
He have a affinity with the holy element for his angel race, therefore learnign holy magic was easier, he even trained it a lot, raising his skill level with it.
The reason the new spells are so weak in comparison to other magic users is simple, he doesn't have affinity with them, the ring only gave him the bare minimum to use the magic tome.
Maybe by using the spells more like the holy ones hw will be able to use them better, but that is putting the carriage before the horse, he should focus on his strong element and think about other stuff only after reaching a certain level, for now he is a master of rare trade, trying to become a jack of all will just mess up his growth.
Or what if he stuffed his pants with dirt? He'd be able to show off some very "unnatural" movements.Bro doesn't see the value in Earth Tilling. Disturb areas at regular intervals to create uneven or unsteady terrain behind you as you flee, making it harder for pursuers to keep up. Imagine if the dirt behind you kept slipping away like sand on an incline; whoever is behind you would end up on their ass in no time. Considering he's such a worrywart and overthinker, he should've immediately seen this value.
thank you, i didnt notice lol, i seem to have the stupid gene lolThank you for translating.
I think you might have a typo. On the scans page, the first page, you said "Skill Knight Level Up" but after searching, I'm wondering if you meant "School Knight Level Up".
Considering he says it would be faster to use a shovel, and it takes him focusing on it, it isn't something he can do while fleeing. It isn't fast enough and takes too much effort.Bro doesn't see the value in Earth Tilling. You would if you're a writer that's been influenced by Lord of the Rings, where the rings are explicitly called weapons.Normally you wouldn't think a ring is a weapon, magical or not...
That's not "normally", though. You would if you're a writer that's been influenced by Lord of the Rings, where the rings are explicitly called weapons.
