Thank u always for ur great work...

Ohh, the other isekaied people, they quite strong too eh...
But with the tendency to tank any attack that coming from weaker enemy, when facing a disguised strong enemy as the weaker one wont it become a deadly strike instead?
The demon king disguise as a goblin, adventurer block it's attack, got split in half instead?
?.?...
Weren't the rest of them encouraged to min-max their stats? So it might just be that she has high power but low MP. Or that her version of the spell costs a whole lot more. The saint used purify once and was rendered comatose. Our MC dude uses it to clean his clothes. It feels like there's quite a gap since the saint was the one who did most of the work.
It's pretty much based on the assumption that dodging takes more stamina than getting hit. At that point, you're pretty much talking about hits that aren't much stronger than just breaking your skin, if even that, since the level of injury you need to get for ten wounds to be more of a concern than dodging ten attacks is very small. It's HP logic, not real injury logic.I suppose it does require good judgment from the fighter. The dwarf wasn't wrong, though. If you are fighting against a horde of very low level opponents, who can't deal you pretty much any damage, you'd tire yourself out if you still tried to avoid and evade all of their attacks nonetheless, instead of just mowing through them. It's decidedly fantasy world logic, for which an isekaied person would really need to twist their mind into. However, if it also allows you to ignore feint moves by a more equal opponent, it could certainly decide between the winner and the loser.
No martial arts style will tell you to ignore an opponent stabbing at you with a knife because your level difference is so big that the blade will just glance off. I always thought this is what the dwarf was talking about and what would seem so strange for anyone from Earth. Kind of like the demonic beast totally ignored the attacks before the hero finally got through. And again, it's not a technique issue; it's a tactical issue. Techniques don't tell you that you have to respond to attacks in certain ways. They give you options for how to deal with attacks.
That's equivalent to wearing enough armour to not be bothered by attacks, which I did mention. However, glancing off is not the same as causing small injuries, which is what they were talking about. No martial arts style will tell you to ignore an opponent stabbing at you with a knife because your level difference is so big that the blade will just glance off.
not a martial arts style but I recall there was a Japanese saying or something from bushido that was similar...what was it? "Sacrifice the flesh to cut the bone" or something, I don't remember. It isn't really an alien concept to take flesh wounds to dismember or kill an opponent, but it isn't something mc would learn with modern martial arts.No martial arts style will tell you to ignore an opponent stabbing at you with a knife because your level difference is so big that the blade will just glance off. Then again, it's coming from a dwarf who think it's fine to be dying, so that about adds up. There'd be an exception if he was wearing full plate armour or something like that, since armour does allow you to shrug off attacks, and moving with one is more cumbersome.
Against an equal opponent, you need to be able to judge whether tanking a hit would be worth it to give you the opportunity to deal a decisive blow. And that's going to be far lower on the list if it's not your only battle, since then you need to consider your overall endurance.

But that's not what he was saying. He is saying you should take a few scratches or small injuries. The kind of armour you're talking about is full plate armour, which means you won't take any damage unless it's a very strong hit or something that hits a weak point, and those you'd try to avoid.Think of it this way, that blessing/shield thingy could be seen as armor. And in real life combat with armor it is exactly as the dwarf say, you don't dodge an attack that the armor can take care of therby creating an opening.
