This manga has great potential, it stands apart from your usual isekai fare. Familiar yet different in the best kind of way. I can only hope it continues in a similarly strong fashion, and that the various mysteries are slowly yet satisfyingly revealed going forward.

I hope this manga continues to be translated. It is slow paced, simple yet complex. No OP skills, no cliffhangers each chapter or harem.

So far it is a great manga. I hope the author is able to keeps the slow evolution and maybe create an ending within 100 chapters for once.

Instead of a MC with ever increasing strength and no end in sight.

Thread review: A lot of negative comments early in the thread. But more positive comments as more of the story is out.

• It's much more of a Meandering Journey rather than Epic Quest to Slay the Big Bad.
• Repeated trope dodging. Mainly because people act realistically rather than like dumbasses.
• World Feels Real: There's plenty other stuff going on this world aside from the MC's journey.

Trope dodging Example: Choosing not to follow his guildmates.

• First, these are gaming guildmates, not lifelong buddies.
• He leaves, rather than being kicked out.
• While surprised and disappointed by this choice, none of the goes arrogant rage mode. Rather, they seem fairly reasonable about it.
• He dodges his way out of the "Defeat the Demon Lord" quest because he suspects (mild?) mind control. But really all he has is a suspicion. He makes a best guess choice.
• Doesn't inform the others... He's really unsure that he's even right, and he doesn't have time to convince the others (who are already subject to the same (mild?) mind control.) And still he wonders afterwards if he should have said something.
• They don't fall to ruin because he leaves, they get a replacement healer.
• All of this is adult and reasonable. Which is a nice change of pace.

This series is getting better with time. I like how his companions are meaningful but also temporary. That said, I look forward to him eventually meeting his old guild mates eventually. I feel like if/when that happens the girl will leave the rest and travel with the MC.

I like this it has potential to reach maybe easily 200 chapters maybe if the author doesn't fack up the strength progression of the mc.

The translation is rough but the story is fun. Sense of discovery like playing an old school rpg back in the days. I hope we get more.

At some point I thought each group was transported to different worlds, or at least different points in time, and by leaving his friends he will never see them again. Still a possibility since nothing to prove the goblin-looking merchant is the same guy.

After reading until chapter 41, I can say its fun.

Im going to be honest, I completely skipped the first chapter. I read the first pages, took a quick pick at the rest and figured out it was all nonsense, an excuse for the story. Turns out it was completely ok to skip it as its meaningless, later I figured the MC is part of the heroes or something and decided to go his own way because in some chapters the group of the Hero shows up. An isekai is an isekai no matter the author.

Im going to be completely honest once again and admit I tend to skip quite a few pages in some others chapters. Theres way too much text of meaningless stuff im not inrested to know about in this comic. You could debate it isn't, and I would reply that so far I perfectly understand the story and the path its taking. Maybe its faster to read in japanese, thats why the gigantic amount of text.
