Holy fuck, all this temple layout stuff + burial grounds really confused and took me out of the manga for a while.
Mostly because you have to google all those words like "Heian-Kyo", because what the hell is that?

I guess it makes sense because I am not Japanese and all that.

I am glad I have amassed a decent grasp of various Japanese cultural and mythological concepts, otherwise this series would be quite confusing to read, I can imagine. Touhou stuff especially has been helpful, when dealing with more esoteric nipponmythos.
