@LLENN Then you should reread the last chapter. Sugimoto was buying Miso when sniper attacked, he even threw the miso barrel at Vasily here and the last chapter end note even joked "Misomoto" instead of Sugimoto.

@ElBichoRaro What lead you to think this is not Vasily? He remembers Shiraishi's face, even draw Ogata's portrait, the eyes and hair's color match, he got a mask to hide the injury Ogata gave him. If you check the volume version of the manga, Noda made some changes to Vasily's clothes and they are the same as what this sniper is wearing.
