From the author of Toradora! comes yet another incredible rom-com that has its fair share of romantic and comedy moments to remember... at least for the first half of the manga. The rest is ridiculed with plot holes and such contrivances that in my opinion, the story just comes off as poor, horribly paced and illogical. Developments happen so quick, irrational and repetitive and most of them get thrown out the window by the second half of the story, it’s as if you’re reading two different stories. It’s frustrating, the first half genuinely was good, but the whole manga is just ruined by bad development, bad characters, bad storylines, bad everything it would hardly left an impact on you by the time you’ve finished it. The art is decent, a perfect fit with the comedy and all, and might be the only reason why I’ve stick around till the end. You either love this or hate this, but for me Golden Time is a big miss. It’s a good read but not something you would remember.

I wanted to re-read it because I forgot how it ended, up to chap 30 I had a bad feeling about the ending, now reading it again I finally remember why I hated the ending.
