Gon sure finds himself being adopted a lot.
I'm not sure what the implication is; is it that to a being as timeless as Gon, the origin is irrelevant, so he may as well have a bunch of different ones? Does Gon like playing with kids, so he seeks out baby litters looking to get adopted? Or is it simply that his weird dimensions look babylike enough for most animals that have motherly/paternal instincts to accept him as part of the litter, and Gon is simple and carefree enough to just go along with it?

I'm nothing tagging 'the other two comments to not annoy them since they are from far ago, but this is my theorie:

We don't see many dinosaurs through the series (althought I think we saw some pterodactyls but I don't remeber seing others types - only and most savana animals) and I think Gon is one of the last of his specie, so he don 't know what he is.
He seeks being together with any kind of creature and tries to be part of them.

Ok, this is my favorite chapter so far, the whole story with wolves, the mother wolf fighting for her family, the tiger as a villain was awesome, how it mercilessly kills the mother and one of her babies, Gon fighting alongside his new "siblings" and the final decease of the tiger, everything great, and then the final departure, no one looks back, no "final words", everyone just walks their way after what's been years as a family.
God tier chapter.
