@nastyafoamborn well, you have to consider that in these times, korea basically had nothing, and they were being watched by the japanese every second. patriotism was at an all time high, and especially if your husband died during that time, i honestly understand she went that far, even if it sounds inhumane.

I don't even necessarily mind that they justified their actions because I understand they thought it was the only choice at the time but the fact they feel no remorse is what makes me so furious. It's as if justifying what they did is more important than rectifying the pain they caused her. They should be begging for her forgiveness.
