I'm just curious, but is there some reason that you seem to be making a concerted effort to put British slang into this series? Is that how the author actually wrote it or is it your own decision add it, since I definitely don't remember it being like that before? I noticed it last chapter as well, but I've got to say it fully takes me out of the experience when I read it. It's just that jarring that I have to take a moment to double check what I read is actually what I read.

it definitely is jarring, I remember reading this one, with full on brit translation, shit's taking me out, especially with phrases such as:

nearly shat myself
I could just fuck the shit out of you

"Sorry for your inconvenience, dear readers. If you felt that this kind of translation jarring, me as a translator was doing an experimental using british slang. If turns out you dear readers having an uneasy feeling towards this then i would not use the British slang for the rest of the series."

I wouldn't exactly say I feel uneasy towards it in general, just in this weird timing/addition from seemingly nowhere. I mean, if this story took place in England or the character(s) was British then it would fit and I wouldn't think twice about it. It's an established fact that this is taking place in Japan with Japanese characters though. Also, if there was one particular character that talked that way as a quirk since the beginning, then again I wouldn't think as much about it. I'm not saying it's bad enough to make me stop reading, but it definitely takes me out of the immersion into the story.

The only example I could compare to is suppose you've been watching a Korean TV series since the beginning and then halfway through the third season some of the characters start talking in an Australian accent. No preamble, no explanation, it's just the new norm. I'd figure that would leave a rather odd impression on you, no?

Yeah, I understand that. It sure leave a bitter taste but doesn't mean the foods looks that bad.
