Pretty good until those last few chapters. I can't say I mind the pairing in an ethical sense, but it didn't really seem to fit the characters here, so it felt really forced. Would've preferred a longer series with more of a "family" focus than "romance", maybe some yuri with the beastkin.

very cute manga. i dont think this is pdf. there is so much worse in the real world. stop being a snowflake and hating on a wholesome story.
The way I see it, the story isn’t about an adult going after a child. The main character wasnt seeking the beatksin in the first place. collete was the one who recommended it. a. At first, she didn’t care about having Mel around and barely even interacted with her. It took time before she even started talking to her and even when they slept together it was more like big sister and young sister or mom and daughter. there was no indication of her having weird intentions.

What makes it important is the main character’s past—she lost her parents, was betrayed by relatives, and spent years isolated with nobody she could trust. Mel was the very first person she slowly opened up to after all of that. Because of that, it feels more like a story about someone rediscovering trust and warmth after being completely alone for years. And in that context, it’s easier to understand how she could develop deep feelings for the first person she was finally able to rely on again. also note she never felt that way back until mel said it. the only questionable part was the end when she kissed mel and thought back to what stela said about holding back. other then that its very wholesome
