She did everything she could to look human, so removed everything that at first glance would give her away.
Makes sense. I was just surprised because I thought she would have been able to just cover that up with clothes, but after looking at earlier chapters, I guess that might have been too hard to pull off, considering how thick it was.

I know he doesn't need it, but I think a large backpack with supplies would make their ruse more convincing, especially if Melty was the one carrying it to further demonstrate her subservient status.

It was healed with magic so while it was done recently it's healed like it's been a few months at least. And yes, that's how horns work, just like any other bone. This is a long-dead antler, so none of the non-calcified matter remains, but it still demonstrates the basic look. The outer layer of horn is insensitive, but the flesh and skin at the base, as well as the living interior of the bone, would both be still very sensitive.

I don't have trypophobia, but looking at this still made me a bit uncomfortable. The opposite of ASMR. 😅
Anyway, reminds me of toucan beaks.

Sheep horns still attached to the head have living tissue and blood inside. It's why when you don't want a sheep to have horns you disbud (grind the nubs of growth and cauterize them) with a hot iron, to prevent bleeding and to be done before 8 weeks of age. Wait too long and they attach to the skull, leading to dehorning, which is what happened to Melty. and yes, dehorning can lead to death via blood loss. Not to say disbudding doesn't have its risks either but Melty is clearly not less than 8 weeks old. Dried up and hollow horns are old, detached horns, not living attached ones. The writer is not a hack, most of you are just ill informed.

Incidentally, an antler that falls off before it is ready will also lead to bleeding. One you find on the forest floor is in a different state from one attached to a buck in rut and ready to strut and headbutt.
Thanks for the sources and terms.

Why does everything have to be so rapey in this manga... it ruins the entire mood.
Which bit of the "sexual violence" tag did you miss? It's there for a reason, y'know....
And it's really all just FemDom stuff, and within that niche nothing really special. It's just a male protag making all the "Kyaaaa!! My Purity!! Ruined!!" noises instead of a female sidekick..
Which makes it all the funnier... :p

Is that a thing? Do scars from amputations become erogenous zones? That doesn't seem right. BALLSKEKW
They do become sensitive.

As for becoming erogenous, it might depend on the person (Melty seems to be the type who rarely gets injured, so maybe for her pain is more sensual).

I mean, there are people who like to play around with their scars or injury area a lot.

Well, for people that term is basically a synonym to Women exploitation (especially in modern era).
Majority of people wouldn't associate Men being the target/victim of sexual violence by a Women.

Because no matter how much Women say that they are equal to Men when it comes to strengths and capabilities. When it comes to sexual violence, they would always consider and showcase themselves as the weaker sex.

So the norm/notion with the term sexual violence didn't change.
