I do like how the author is bringing up racism to asians because it's a thing esp since it happened to me, but that random black person repentance comment was weird and out of place lmao.

It feels like the author is trying to add issues of racism in for discussion and drama between our couple, but just super focused on skin color. I guess culture wise for koreans they would be hyper focused on skin and stuff but still jarring lol!

Huh, I thought jin's comparison was not bad? I thought he used black people as a contrast to show Bliss how ridiculous he sounded. Of course its definitely not a comparison I would use but I assume the author is not Western/didn't live in the west so this is a decent understanding of racism imo (always room for improvement of course, so some more tact and ability to avoid this comparison is ideal).
