I appreciate the kind words from everyone, but from what I can see, there is no difference between the serialized and pre-serialization versions of this series, other than consolidation of chapters. (ie. 3 pre-serialization chapters = 1 serialized chapter.) If you check the pre-serialized section on MD here you can see that the chapter 6 here is just chapters 10-12 there. Chapter 42 there is chapter 12 for me. I have up to chapter 15 (end of vol.2).
So even if Setsu is still behind, it doesn't really seem worth all the effort to me anymore. Sorry.

Setsu sucks. They hoard series on their website, drip feed most content at a snail's pace, and only show up on mangadex when someone fills a hole that they themselves left open. There are several series of theirs that I used to read but they've all but abandoned them and only seem to post more when someone else threatens to jump their claim.

Also their quality is incredibly inconsistent. I understand your reluctance to pick the series up, Osis, but it would've been cool especially since sooner or later the pre-serialization content has to run out.

They do have a "left Mangadex and took everything to our website" disclaimer on their group page. It's not nothing but it's like the bare minimum of effort they could put in.

Most groups that have websites at least have the decency to upload chapters on here like a week or a month after they upload on their website so that website traffic is driven by people who need to read it immediately while Mangadex posted chapters serve as advertisement and engagement for people who don't want to bother leaving the convenience of being on here. That really is the ideal solution.

Setsu is also hurt by the fact that their site is infuriating to navigate and the fact that they have 26 series listed on their site but only like 7 of them have updates in the last month and a half. There's like 3 or 4 series of theirs that I read and I think only one of them has seen an update since the middle of May.

Setsu's a fairly awful group that often drops series or lets them hang for months on end until someone picks up a series only for them to mass release. Even this one is three months without an update on their terribly designed website. They still upload stuff here from time to time but since they take forever to do most series it's easy to forget.
