Disappointing that this seems to be one that ends at, or shortly after, the confession.
I'd be tons more patient with tropes I hate if it'd mean that end condition died off

Right, I forgot the serialization was On-going. I kinda assumed it was Completed as well. Haven't paid it any mind since Osisnie's comment a couple years ago (Wow, it has already been that long? ).

Maybe if we're lucky someone'll actually pick up the serialization after this gets completed

I enjoy the other guy is a straight shooter, but not a douche. Honestly got to know him because he was curious about him and why his crush hangs with him. Asked him about her straight up, and it forced MC to be honest about his true feelings to at least one other person. I usually don't like interferance but when it is used like this to help the acualization of feelings it is much better.
