@Huapollon Yeah I could see that being sketchy af, but I think this "solution" to their trauma or therapy is just a byproduct of games advance beyond the point of our current reality. You see it in sci-fi/fantasy novels/mangas/movies of such exploring the idea to live in a world outside of your current one, these types of fantasy settings is further enforced by being able to have the sense you normally would irl, like the smell, texture and sense of life excluding the mediocrity and uncertainties that you might associate within the real world. This type of escapism is what attracts peoples attention, so including all the motions and emotions you would have when you go outside be felt inside a game is a driving force for companies and people to strive towards. Maybe thinking that the game in this manhwa is the result of that advancement being made, and not just some scheme for the game company to make a deal and entice the hospitals for profits. Maybe they do but this example can be made with Notch or Mojang when they first started developing Minecraft as a game and is now used in some schools to stimulate creativity, art and ingenuity.
