@Dreadful looking at it realistically if the VR gaming company are capable enough to create a realistic world then some company out there should already have created VR that facilitates on psychological aspects. It would be more easier to do that than create this gaming RPG world.
@Eshtha Probably, but what if (these are all "what if" scenarios) the technology used to create this game is privatized and monopolized by a single company that takes game creation first as a test of some sort. Cause it feels like, from how the story goes, this is the only VR game technology in their world that have these aspects to play with or be used as therapy (they did say this solution that the hospital gave the MC is an experiment as a last chance to fix his habit, they don't just give it to every patient in the hospital since its mentioned it had a side effect of not working at all and backfiring making the patient's condition worse).
I can't tell if it's the poor translation or the actual story but this does such a bad job of separating NPCs and players, I assumed these were NPCs and then it just randomly goes to an actual hospital scene?
