With 129 chapters in and there yet to be anything between the FMC (Sakura) and the MC (Shinobu) to suggest these guys are to be the end game couple. If anything, this chapter strengthened their hatred towards Sakura. Hence why people are requesting Fumi become the FMC and Sakura to be relegated to a supporting female cast who is just there for erotic scenes with ugly bastards and playboys. Considering Fumi is the fan favourite and has a better connection with the MC than Sakura does and, they’re basically together majority of the time. MC even fantasised about her whilst having sex with Sakura. It would make more sense of her being the FMC to satisfy that ‘Romcom’ aspect. That not say there won’t be NTR baits on her, it’s Airi, she lives off this. But it’s now more logical especially after this chapter to suggest that Fumi should take over.

NTR fans are mad because there isn’t enough shock value to get their fetish off. People knew from Chapter 1 that Sakura is a nympho and an easy target. You don’t have to do much in order for her to fold and spread herself. NTR shock value comes from the fact that you wouldn’t expect such a pristine and innocent FMC to almost reduce herself to such levels of depravity to the point where she cheats right in front of a loved one. The issue is, Sakura is FAR from innocent. Also, MC isn’t aware of Sakura’s infidelity hence it will fit under cheating, but not NTR. That will likely change.

If they reduce the romcom aspect to an arc? Expect this to be her last big manga. And Romcom doesn’t necessarily have to end with the female lead and male lead together. As long as the central romantic arc gets resolved in a satisfying way. One lead ends up with someone else in the cast if the story reveals that relationship was healthier, more developed, or the actual intended romance all along. But you are right, this is the beginning of the NTR arc, so she will probably stretch this out until MC finds out and dumps her.

She really didn’t plan this out. Thankfully she is under Kondansha so hopefully MC won’t get a cuck ending. But she needs to stick to Doujins.

Airi Katsura clearly has a purpose in doing (and recycling) these type of NTR series if she's getting to the point of defending the plots she does.

We all know she has a personal grudge against beta simp mcs (and Karsmi Zakari MC got a better end in the doujin probably because she may have gotten some threats or decided she overdid it), but i am wondering... does she have a redpill agenda and is showing through her heroines what she wants from men?
