Yeah, like box and a few other guys mentioned it a few times here, all the premise of him protecting her is gone now. There is no point to continue it...

If she and the editor wanted bigger numbers they should have just uped the sex and erotica scenes all together ever since they had their 1st time. It was a major hill crossed and they didn't even capitalize on it as they should have. These last 20 ch should have been all about that. Think about it! This art is top tier, NTR funs would be satisfied just because of that, and rom-com fans are also "perverts", they wouldn't have nothing against it. Sex sells, but not in the way they did it...

Shinobu built Sakura career up from the ground running. He is the main reason she exists essentially. I feel very bad for him.

We didn’t get to read her thoughts and the dude isn’t really a great guy either if he takes advantage of her being heartbroken and vulnerable.

That’s another point I saw being brought up, that the actor guy is actually a scumbag and not really interested in her. And as an actor it should be no problem for him to play „a guy in love“

guess one will have to wait and see how it plays out
