I don't think less straightforward = more interesting imo. Considering KA already couldn't execute the drama in a sufficient matter I am almost certain the consequences would be minimal. Also that's what I'm saying by getting them together because of destined (fmc)lover syndrome, their relationship would be much stronger? In all the relationships with infidelity, even the subsection that stays together, how many of them would say their relationship is stronger now vs when they had first gotten together? A very small amount, and this relationship wasn't so well written that it'd make me think they'd beat the odds.
I think it's well past that point because dealing with infidelity isn't something that's just gonna be fixed or seem grounded by Sakura just loving Shinobu deeper
Everyone's already so dismissive of KA's writing atp that they can do whatever they want honestly, Shikura, ShiFumi, ShiLone. I can see Shikura coming out of this stronger but the signs aren't all there yet. I'd join the doomer club if we were only on chapter 50 without a second thought.
Well let's see this from shinobu's point of view sakura doesn't want to see him she is living with another man they are having sex. Fumi has been waiting for him all this time quietly and patiently she isn't taking advantage of the situation and she isn't the reason shinobu and Sakura broke up sakura is. Now shinobu's character puts his all into something once he decides to do it Sakura's career their relationship his movie protecting fumi and Sakura from bad actors. If he goes all the way with fumi he isn't just going to jump ship for Sakura and then again why would he we know all the shit she did to him.
I didn't say it would be solved that way and I can't really think of a way Arir can solve it.

Yes while I agree and hope that shinobu goes with fumi(especially because he already was attracted to fumi and develops feelings for her since she was introduced). I still see the writing more like slutkura fucks and shinobu fucks both are even so they can go back together and live "happily". Even though i would really hate this ending and this lame ass writing this is the possibility i see most here. Either that or she really goes with slutkura realise she did shit but cant go back because shinobu is with fumi and than another man comes into her live both other partner both "happy". Its crazy that the only reasonable ending is shinobu x fumi lol. Slutkura destryoed everything with 129.
But there is also another possibility. What if the whole redeeming slutkura is a whole arc after it. Shinobu is together with fumi and slutkura gets to know the truth is still in love with him. Sees him with fumi and goes for the war. She speaks with shinobu, tries to be intimate with him(not sexually) talks with him a lot, write with him via lime. Than its slutkura ntring fumi and getting shinobu back... well still shit ngl
