It would not be out of character for Shinobu, everything he's done has always been for Sakura until now where he's with Fumi and we'll see if he goes all the way or not yet. We can say he's falling in love with Fumi or will try to, but right now at least his feelings for Sakura are still a fair bit stronger I'd say. It's going to be up to the author to decide if Shinobu's character from here changes or does he go back to factory settings for Sakura somehow.

That's the million dollar question, Nagi is reintroduced, could potentially open Sakura's eyes a bit, but meanwhile on the other side of things ShiFumi suddenly get hot and heavy after months of no contact? It doesn't doom everything, does look comedic in some ways, but it also complicates things in a story thats already too complicated for KA and suggests Sakura is getting written out but then why bother having Nagi back in the mix at all then, just change Nagi into fucboi to hammer home the point. It's brilliant reader manipulation if nothing else, everyone now expecting the obvious for 133, while those who want to can fish for cope, and since its not here just yet so we get to yap amongst ourselves about it.
