KA’s fuck up is using H-logic on a manga (Chapter 128 and 129). If 128 and 129 were h-doujins, I promise you, no one would have an issue. Now Sakura (FMC BTW) is probably the most hated character in the manga, publishers are panicking. It’s either they play incredible damage control, retcon chapter 129, or deviate from intended story progression and let Fumi win.

At this point it seems unlikely that 129 would be retconned. Even if it was, the whole dramatic tension is gone anyway. Had 129 not happen and 128 was left open ended, it could have added drama and suspense on if Sakura actually went all the way or not.

These after chapters would have been better. Why did Sakura leave? Did she actually? "Sakura and I had sex" is fuckboi telling the truth or lying to divide the two further?

It would have been amazing like that. But sadly KA said herself she didn't plan to do any revisions or anything.

Nothing in this whole mess is normal, so ruining Shinobu x Fumi in a dumb way should 't surprise anyone at this point.
Don't get me wrong, i'm all for Fumi, i didn't like Sakura even before the cheating... But the damage control they are doing is pretty obvious. I just described it in a simple logical way.

I don't think that she'll do the same mistake again(maybe i'm having some faith in the author).But like you said with this author anything is possible.

Idk, I have my doubts about that too. I think they could have just had Sakura “disappear”, but they went with the message, signing with another agency and “moving with the fuckboi.” I think it’s impossible for an author not to know that if they went down that route, that character would be hated

I still think it wasn't her intention and now she has started to do some damage control now and i think she will do something to probably reedem Sakura(hard thing to do).

It's hard but I do see a path of redemption opening up for Sakura. It just depends on if it can be executed or not.

Be it a movie arc, Nagi talking to her. There's a few ways for her to go on a path of redemption and character growth. Ideally I don't want Sakura and Shinobu to get back together. But I would like Shinobu, Fumi and Sakura to all be happy at the end.

It's gonna have to take a lot for Sakura to be redeemed first. And that starts with her learning the truth.

I think everyone is probably correctly team Fumi, we'll find out a bit more in 2 days! Going to keep believing and being happy for Shinobu regardless, makes it fun and bearable.

True but the realist perspective that mostly everyone here is having just seems undeniable. I only can yap against it unconvincingly with copious amounts of delusion for Sakura haha. Won't hope too hard for the power of plot armor convenience till I see it again because it's clear been stripped away for a good while now in favor of fuckboi the Gary Sue.

Quite the fair breakdown, the loner route seems way too sad, only way I can see that is if he somehow rejects Fumi at this point, loses the movie because their relationship is too broken, and then Sakura is show to be happy with fuckboi. Honestly at that point if I was Shinobu I'd just call up Mio and ask if she still wants him to be her manager lol.

You make a sharp point. A friend here (forget who) have ever suggested that keeping chapters 128 and 129 ambiguous (leaving what happened unclear) was actually a good narrative choice. Readers won't get angry at Sakura and the fucboy.

IMHO, instead of correcting chapter 129, the simplest solution would be to cancel chapters 128 and 129 and have the story flow directly from Chapter 127 to Chapter 130.

Well, it won't ruin the story because what fucboy said to Shinobu could be a lie or truth since none of the readers truly know what transpired that night.

Using ambiguity is a technique employed by many manga artists and it is a far better narrative device than emotionally hurting the audience by destroying Sakura's character in chapter 129 like Airi Katsura (sensei) did.

You pretty much answered your own question. The answer for everything is "BAD WRITING", nothing else...
99% of NTR artists are garbage writers, who probably lack basic human emotions and contact, and don't have normal social skills. Just look how they write their characters and stories, always the same dumb c/p shit, with like not a single brain cell used to make it a little bit different. Yeah someone will call that out with "It's NTR, people are supposed to be dumb", and i'm gonna say NO to that. That's where that 1% comes into play... We had a few examples here already about good written NTR manwas, mangas and h-doujin. They are rare, but possible if the author is a normal person. This one unfortunately isn't in that group...

I personally think there is an untapped market to be made with NTR/Revenge genres that would go hand in hand and produce engaging stories. We just need a breakthrough manhwa/manga to produce one better than both Queen Bee and Silent War with good art. It would do numbers and the rest will follow (Probably even the Japanese too).

Even with Japanese doujins, I can think of many NTR doujins where if it had a revenge arc. The story would be goated. Unfortunately, NTR fans derive thrill off being the bull. So seeing their insert get comeuppance would destroy the doujin for them. Till then? It’s fanfics.
