I used to think the same way you do because I had only skimmed through it without paying close attention to the details of the sex scene.

However, after seeing numerous Japanese comments said rape rape and rape and those comments were quickly deleted within about an hour. I became curious what web admin tried to hide. I went back to reread the scene in details and even did some research, only to discover that those Japanese comments were right. I was wrong! I jumped to a conclusion though I didn't read it carefully.

I don't know how the laws in other countries define rape but under Japanese law, it is definitely classified as rape. The fucboy has no way to wriggle out of it.

This shows us again and again that Airi Katsura (sensei) did a lousy job with the storytelling.

She applies the habits of writing doujinshi to her manga without realizing that doing so in a commercial manga is illegal.

She also seems to confuse the character Iida from Karami Zakari with Sakura from Grapara are the same person, resulting in a jumbled mess where the characters are all mixed up.

As I’ve said before, Iida’s mother and Sakura’s mother are twins. It’s as if she simply copy-pasted the exact same character into different stories without making a single change!

Again, there were Japanese people who were aware of this rape law which is a recent one. Then they spoke up about it but all their comments were deleted.

Looking like it with tone of 132>133 but Nagi again gives me hope that Airi is stepping up to bat a bit. Always more fun to figure out an ending that deals with an insane self-inflicted conflict rather than settling for plan B.

This really is just such a KA moment of her getting confused that she was writing up another Karamizakari spinoff chapter or something it feels. Until I see more to suggest otherwise, the best summary of the manga right now is "wasted potential" depending on how the remainder of the story is penned. Nagi please save us, and Mio doko.

Nagi can make Sakura think and reflect I'm expecting at a bare minimum, and that's where it needs to start. The rest of the things that need to happen can always work itself out later with the power of plot convenience + KA writing if needed just like 128>129.

There was some guy on twitter spamming stuff about it and a tiny handful of comments that weren't upvoted much at all on magapoke. For all I know its the same people posting in here. There seems to be a small subset of people trying to shift blame from Sakura to the guy.
