After that, it cuts to the scene where Mio meets Sakura, which will also feature wordless panels, and Sakura will show a completely devastated face...

It was supposed to be the dark side of Gravure modeling, hence why every arc some guy wants to fuck Sakura or one of the girls ends up fucking the producers. The MC just happens to save Sakura from doing the deed or shinanegans happens. It was inevitable that Sakura was gonna get swept away by the industry and the seeds were planted after she blew the last guy and almost got double teamed. The fact people are shocked or upset that Sakura cheated clearly weren't paying attention to the story. It's ridiculous. I don't think it was rushed our Fuckboi just happened to be at the right place at the right time.

Edit: looked it up. Didn't know it was the love is war/oshi no ko dude.

Akasaka went through a divorce just right after school festival, you can pin point the moment the mangaka goes FUCK IT ALL and starts crashing out on the manga and the primary victim was Ishigami who went from having the best arc to the worst arc in the series, it didn't help he wanted Miko Iino to be popular and instead became the least liked character in the franchise so Aka went butcher on every female character that fan shipped with Yuu and at the end Miko and Yuu don't even in up together
Then went full contradictory with Oshi no Ko with turning Ruby into Ai 2.0
The fans were so dissapointed on Akasaka brand name they entirely gave up on his works, Renai Daikou work got cancelled and the current Märchen Crown is a walking zombie that likely is still publicating because it's in the contract with the publisher becuause sales wise even Grapara does better

This manga is from the author of Oshi no Ko and people HATED that ending and them this new manga is hella flopped and jp fans done a boycoot for his future works because of Oshi no Ko ending.

It pretends to be dark but fails to go all out and hands out free good endings or ambiguous endings for free, no stakes, no interest, the series is dark horror, dark fantasy? a parody? a dark comedy? isn't taking any direction so what it wants to be I wonder?

The pacing is so slow you can literally fall sleep while reading a chapter, pretty good if you have insomnia tho.
A wattpad user has more consistent writing a novel than Aka writing Marchen Crown..

So it really got axed, huh? I guess that explains a lot in retrospect. Looks like chapter 129 was a last-ditch Hail Mary to save the series, but it totally backfired. It feels like they were banking everything on that one big twist, hoping it would generate enough buzz to keep the series alive, but clearly it didn't work.

And Airi going on about writing something unique? That was just empty talk. There's no way they can wrap things up satisfactorily in just two chapters. That's barely enough time to resolve one subplot, let alone give the whole story a satisfactory conclusion.
