Unlike Sakura who did it on the spur of the moment cus she wanted a better man, here Fumi is doing it cus she is insecure and wants to hurt and teach Shinobu a lesson. So if she goes through with it she will be way more evil than Fumi ever was.

At no point have they portrayed Shinobu as a cuckold. He didn't even want Fumi to do that scene, so I think it's very possible that he'd freeze for a moment but then cut the scene short.

Bud Arir would have to take 3 pages for the fumi fallout and 3 pages to undo Sakura x fuckboi the 5 pages just to point them in one anothers direction leaving 9 pages to put them back together. How many pages did she spend having that guy tell shionbu why he got blacklisted for hitting on girls that's a hint that shionbu can't be a director and date someone in the industry next chapter half breaking up fumi x shinobu the other half Sakura x fuckboi working out there problems. Shionbu ends alone that's how I see this going. She really dose hate the average guy.

Airi wrote Sakura's betrayal and Fumi's betrayal in such a way that between them, she could always pull a surprise redemption for Sakura cuz she's the FMC..

If I were a writer and wanted to redeem a character that cheated and is a nympho the only thing that could do it would be by making a beloved character WORSE so fans stop mentioning any cheating.

Giving her the freedom to barge back into the life of a broken Shinobu, use her final chapter dialogues to make a bullshit reconciliation, and end the manga there..
